Hello, and welcome to the AskaGeophysicist# Forum. This is an interactive place to get answers to your questions on the use of geophysics for environmental site management!
Many site remediation professionals would like to know more about non-invasive methods to characterize and/or monitor sites. These methods complement traditional investigation methods, such as drilling boreholes or point-scale sampling. When used appropriately, geophysical methods may offer valuable additional information to improve site characterization and remediation monitoring.
This forum encourages environmental management professionals and geophysical experts to communicate regarding needs/experiences with using geophysics in site investigations. You are encouraged to report on a success story you've had using geophysics, or any limitations you've found in your projects. If you have a question regarding the potential application of a geophysical technology at a site or for a specific problem, several expert geophysicists are notified and can view and/or comment on any forum text added to this site. Other users can also comment on your posts.
